This is a commercial grade honeycomb made with aramid fibers. It is coated with a heat resistant phenolic resin. Honeycomb core materials are available from a great variety of raw materials and in a large program of cell sizes and densities. Nomex honeycomb is available with a standard lead-time of 2-3 weeks.
Aramid honeycomb core is widely used for aerospace, rail transit, ships and yacht, shelter, sports products etc.
